AccountingWeb recently polled accountants and financial professionals to gain insight into their top concerns for 2015. Over 530 professional service firms were polled and the results were very telling.
According to this survey, over 70% of accountants, bookkeepers, and business advisors are concerned about attracting and developing new business. This is a global concern that we have heard many times.
One of the most common problems our accountas have is not knowing how to take their business from seasonal (tax and audit services) to constant revenue streams throughout the year. We believe that the solution is moving away from hourly billing, and providing consultative services and proactive advice on a retainer fee.
